I am afraid the market is flooded with them right now.
Yep i definetly thought of that for years . Can't even get takers if you promise they will work LOL .
The Intake ''' .... I mean the ''Colleteur d'Admission'' came in today.
I know the carb may need some work. Maybe a new "needle valve" so it won't "Sap" so much power.

Can't say I have ever had any left over wood if there was a blower involved.

Hmmmmm...............a Monica moment!
I suppose that "carb" will help you REED the TREE better at the line. :D
I'd like, with every "FIBER" of my being to shave every "SLIVER" of time off the "TREE". I'm gonna go out on a "LIMB" and say I problee' won't be able to "LEAF" this carb. the way it is.
I bet that's going to be a Birch to tune.
Could even be a pine in the butt to tune!!!!
I'll have to measure it, Doug. I'll let you know this weekend sometime.Quote:

Looks good Falcon, where the heck did you find all that ambition!!!!!???????
Well, Merc 2 went out for it's shakedown cruise yesterday. Haven't seen Steve and Doug since!!!! Lots of little things to take care of, but I'd really just as soon leave most of them till after the upholstery is in, then fix all the little things this winter when it goes down for paint. Right now, it's cruisin' time!!! The car is in primer with a couple coats of clear on it to protect the primer from the weather an UV.... Should be going to the upholstery shop next week-----if I can get my partner's to park the dang car long enough!!!!!!
I never really thought about it. I just love to build stuff and my wife is cool with it so off I go. Just not much of a TV watcher, I guess. Unless it's Star Trek or Dr Who reruns or Cardinal baseball. The Cardinals aren't too pleasant to watch lately, though.:3dSMILE: I'm going whole hog on my rat truck project right now, gotta make some $$$ to keep this one going. Great to have you guys back, the temp website was OK but there's no place like home.:D
Falcon send some my way . I want to get cpe in paint so i can sell it also . Want the funds for rod and FB . Contracts up and i want to sit on mine a bit just in case there is a strike .
Looking forward to seeing some cruisin' shots of the ol' Merc Dave, I bet your getting excited seeing her go down the road eh?
The chasis is really looking good Falcon, getting some great detail going. I wish mine looked that good.
Last Dave seen of the Merc was it's tail lights LOL . Hopefully its back before digital cams are extinct .
Still haven't seen anything of the Merc, guess the guys are having fun! I did get the tailight panel roughed in on Jackies Camaro..... Now I've got to figure out what to do for a front end....The stock one is fugly!!!!
Wow, Dave, a Musmaro. Cool. Chevy never had it so good.
hmmmm. You're about the 3rd guy that said that. Just a coincidence I guess.....I'd certainly never be the type of guy who would intentionally make the back end of a maro resemble a Mustang.....
    :LOL:Quote:

Nothing but cheap trailer lights from the parts store set in a recessed opening.... Somehow it ended up resembling a Mustang, don't know how that happened!!!!!:whacked: :whacked: :whacked:
:) well looks great in that form . You had me looking and squinting my eyes . I was thinking that since i just rewired a trailer but even that didnt make me positive .
Just stand your trailer on it's side, then you'll recognize the lights Bobby!!!!!   :LOL:Quote:

Looks like a musmaro for sure, but I like it. Some changes on the front end & you'll have 'em stratchin' their heads trying to figure it out. :D
Got the hinge parts cleaned & paired up this afternoon. Dave, don't be tellin' me they look like mustang hinges.
oppps. forgot the pic.
Hey Pro, great looking set of Torino hinges!!!!!!!!!!!! Some more gorgeous work, as always!!!!
Pro70 that is some great work . Looks like some Monarch work or some sort of CNC.
Nicely done Pro70, those your creation? Well done, simple and sweet.
Dave, she is truely a great looking car, well done.
I am starting my next project, putting my BB mopar in my 70 dart. Dissassembly starts monday, looking forward to getting back into the shop again, been a dry spell for me.

Next is to make pins & bushings on the lathe, Weld the hinge to the base from the back side & drill a couple more mounting holes that couldn't be cut on the CNC. Then it's time to get the doors mounted.
The dart looks like a cool project Brick.
