I tiptoed into the painters shop at quiting time today and caught the 2 colors on and the 2 small stripes seperating them to go. I managed to get acouple pics before he locked the shop doors. After they all left I caught myself standing outside looking in the window like a kid wanting a dog from the pet store.:whacked: :eek: I am getting pumped now guys, shes going to be different and I like it!

Thanks alot guys, I appreciate it but You guys won't believe it but the guys wife saw me looking in the window and told him. I get a call about 9:00 and he says "You need to come down here and see this, it's not good!!":eek: I was a little concerned so I shot right down there and there she was, striped and he was laying on the third coat of clear. I had to sit down and drink a beer, guys there are a few times in your life when you really experiance very special things and that was one for me. Man she's a doll now, I'm going to freak out when I see her in the sun! Hope you can see through the overspray.

Thanks alot guys, it's like getting a new car, I am very pleased. She'll be getting wet sanded and buffed this week. I'll be picking her up on sunday afternoon so I hope it's a sunny day but there will be pics either way. Then it's off to working hard to get her in shape for the NSRA event in Springfield Mo. in the end of may.(25th) I have alot of interior work to do and not much time.
Brick when i get back from the Peotone swap meet i hope you have em up. I hope its decent and sunny also hate being in the cold for hours. Keep pecking at it and you'll be cruising to the show.

Was at the swap meet in peotone today . Found a trans that fixed a problem i was having . I put a thread in shop talk .
Rc Grays lake is north of me a bit . The June 10th tri Chevy meet is very big .Parking rolls into the corn fields all around the fair grounds .

A little progress Dave (ireland) got me the dimentions on engine . With the trans issue over i hung engine and will start the install . Made the engine mounts at work this week and while on days for a couple weeks hope to have engine and trans close to being mocked up .

About all I got done this weekend was to push the "Z" outside & clean the shop. Back to getting body mounts fabricated soon.

Hell I can't even get the garage to argue about Tommycat!! I work in the yard and "I'm Damn Glad To Have It!" Thank god for my good friends helping me. Clean the ol girl up and lets see some pics.
I have my glass in now, door solenoid on the drivers side and new windsheild. The new seats went in yesterday so she is slowly coming back together, I didn't realize how much disassembly is really done for paint but it's like starting all over again.
