oh, 1 of the lucky states:LOL: we have saftey inspections here for pre '96 vehicles.. emissions equipment must be in tact and match the emissions tag.. it does not have to be operable tho... being '88-up Ranger/ Bronco II are non EGR, as long as you had cats, PCV and the charcoal canister in place under the hood.. your bronco II would pass NYS inspection w/o a problemQuote:

I fall into an exempt stautus from smog by the nature of my trucks age. Somebody in it's history put a historic vehicle plate on it(which make me laugh thinking old Henry did'nt think to put a 460 in there for quite a few years after it was built!:D

Helped a friend cut the trunk floor out of a '58 chebbie Bel Air today, nice car!!! Just some surface rust and a few small holes in the floor, the owner wanted to have the whole floor replaced anyway! Sez it's a keeper and warrants getting things done right! Nice car, and I don't even like chebbies!!

Dave i think your getting softer on these chevy's . Met a neighbor this week end who has four Camaro's at his garage oldest being a 67 but he's is a car guy so its cool . I still love the fords great lines and great name feeds me every week .:)

About your Bronco front end....... now I know you will most likely balk at this but think of the design of a 67 Chev pickup. The 69 and up were boxy like your Bronco but the 67s were quite streamline. I saw a 70 chopped and the guy put the 67 front end on it, looked pretty nice.
