Where you going to in Florida, Tom.
I live in Brandon / Tampa we have car club meetings twice a week.
We've got a few guy's that built thier cars from scratch here too.
That's the stuff I like to look at to get idea's for my project.

I think Tom was leaving for Florida today, Kurt. I believe him and Don exchanged phone numbers, might want to check with Don and see if he knows how to get hold of him....Think Tom is going to be down there til April!!!!! Don't let him get bored!!!!!!:LOL::LOL:
I'm sitting idle these days since they side lined me.
I would like to meet some of the guys I talk with on here.
Drove up to my grandmother's funeral friday buried her saturday
then drove back saturday night. Its about 1000 miles one way,
and it rained the whole way back to florida. Got lucky though
we did'nt get any black ice. I got to see family I had not seen in 20 years.
Grandmother thought no one would come to her funeral, Her great grandkids
showed up, came from all over the United States.
The pastor even remarked he had never seen such a turn out for a 90 year old person before. I think she would have been very pleased to know how much
every one really loved her. Kurt
Thanks Dave; Kurt
Grandma's are our link to our childhood. Mine could make me feel like a 5 year old when I was 32 years old. I miss her. I'm sorry for your loss.
I'm sorry for your loss, Kurt. Wow, 90 years! What an awesome life; the things she must have seen that we only read about. I never met my grandma but my mom had 35 grandkids and they were definately the love of her life. I know your grandma felt the same.
Kurt......Just read your post. Sorry for your loss, I am sure she is in a well deserving place.
Thanks Guy's; She will be missed, I'm just glad it didn't drag on with her suffering or something like that. She lived through some of the greatest times on earth.
From out houses to toilets, Horse back to auto's, barely flying to out space and a man walking on the moon. Radio to TV, Kerosene to electric lighting, computers And living through the beging of hot roding, and givin 90 years to see it all. I'm jealous. She lived a great life,
And we all know it. We should all be lucky enough to live 90 years, and see the stuff she
had seen. Thanks again for the kind words, God bless you and your familys. Kurt
Well, Tom's coupe is gone and I have my pick-em-up back in the garage to get it finished up and sold.... Somehow I managed to punch a hole in the radiator while it was laying around for 4 years, so I've got to take it to the shop tomorrow to get repaired.... Most everything else is ready, taking care of a lot of the miscellaneous wiring and getting the interior ready for the new upholstery that should be ready this week!!!! Then it's going up for sale so I can spend money on other things..... As usual, the truck is almost done and I'm bored with it!!!!!!
Looks clean now it get's a bench seat? Or buckets? Kurt
Stock bench seat and headliner.....The upholstery guy is rebuilding the seat and putting some good foam and springs in it.... Seat and headliner will be red and white, pleated.....getting anxious to see it all put together!!!!!!
Dave; It must feel good, Can't wait till mine get's to that stage.
I'd have to drive mine a while before I sold it though. Kurt
:LOL::LOL: Well, I did promise my dog he could ride in it, so I suppose I'll have to at least make a lap around town with it..... I'm a builder. The fun is done when it drives out the door.... Unless I'm at the drag strip or a dirt track, then I do enjoy driving!!!!!:LOL::LOL:
