I was thinking the same thing. I was just trying to figure out what to do about upholstery...where the edge of the dash will hit the pillars. I know that if I weld it.....wrapping the dash with vinyl is out. I'm considering doing the wrap around thing. Everything above the belt line inside painted....and everything below some pretty vinyl. I know I'm at a point where I have to make solid decisions now....:LOL: :LOL:

What do the guys use to trim out the inside of the windshield? I know I can use the S-10 surround rubber for the exterior. Just not sure what will clean up the inside.

I recall the first car I ever drove was a 27 Chev (contemporary to the T.)
With sticky valves we had it doing 45 on the speedo down a gravel road.....but it seemed like 100. Scary as hell.

a local guy in town had a '27 Doctors coupe. rarely drove it, but when he did, he never took it very far, we had gotten stuck behind him once. was only doing about 40 or so. didn't have the heart to pass him, so we went a few miles till he pulled over to let us buy... he died a few months ago, and his son sold the car to some other locals who nobody is really fond of.. but nobody is real fond of his son ither.. but he was cool

Ya it was pretty scarry diving it today with that wind, thought it might tip me over a couple of times; the weatherman said the wind was up to 60 mph today, funny it didn't push me backwords :LOL:

If anyone would like to go for a ride in it... come on over, shucks I'll even take you to see the SPAM musemum :eek:

I couldnt agree more! I love the humor and teasing on this site. It reminds me of every morning with my co-workers. Heck....we're always here at work an hour before....just for the comradery and laughs....and usually hang around for a half an hour after work. Does that make us nutz? :eek: :LOL: :LOL:
Just hang out with any lineman crew whether it be electic or telco. Sure to get some laughs every day. This place reminds me a lot of my buds at work.

Yeah, I still like it! I do remember when I was in the Air Force and going to Tech School in Wichita Falls, Tx. one of the penalties paid for taking a weekend trip to Dennison to party usually resulted in SPAM and peanut butter being the snack of choice until pay day rolled around again!!!!!! Was it worth it??? You betcha!!!!!!:LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

Spam is great stuff! Fry it cubed up with some potatoes, scrambled eggs, and add tobasco sauce.

Today when I was driving the old stock T home I heard this loud CLUNK; I thought now what?
After loosing that left wheel last week, I all ways tighten the lug nuts up before taking it for a drive, so I hop out and tighten them up but done were loose. I get back in and drive another hundred yards and it goes CLUNK again. Jump back out, look under the car and everything looked OK. So only being mile from home I drive real slow and keep it in low gear. I got it in the garage, clawled under the T wiggling things, and got to the Right front wheel and it was loose..... the inner bearing and race were dry and quite hot. I know I have extras around but can't find them so now I have to order them. Ratz looks like I'll have to ride my motorcycle again for another week or so.

I would imagine you logged some miles on the big Yamaha while enjoying today's absolutely gorgeous weather, Tom!!!!!! btw, what is the current mileage and how goes the contest?

I lost the contest, Fred got a hundred thousand two weeks ago, I'm at 98,912.4 don't think I'll make to 100,000 unless I take it to Florida with me when we leave in December. I haven't been riding much, justworking on my son's place, want to get all the siding on it so we can get cheaper insurance.
