yup, Buick V-6---231ci I think....
Just an update.... Got some more body mounts made for Tom's coupe and began fitting the sheetmetal.... Also had a "posse" stop by Sunday afternoon, got the body off the Bronco frame and sitting in the garage....a 95" wheelbase with a Windsor and a 5 speed has got to be a lot of fun....2 or 3 other projects to get out of the way before I can get started on it, but it should be a blast to build and take out and play with!!!!!!! Some initial measurements have the ride height at 5.5" and the top of the roof at 54"....subject to change.
Leaving Wednesday for a couple weeks in Texas, need the rest....
Truck is Bad to the bone Dave, very nice. I not big on blue ovals but I really like the year and the way you did yours. Nice.
Tom's car is starting to look really good too, I will be watching how you install the wheel in the middle. Brillant Idea, I can just let the Misses steer on cruise and I can sleep. I like it!!!
I have a question for you guys, it concerns basic cam function. I am planing a build and I want to pick the best cam so I need to make sure what I think is right. Here goes, what is the meaning of "Lift" and "Duration"? If it is what I think, lift is the amount the valve raises from the seat and duration is how long it is open.

Comp Cams has a program on their site called "Cam Quest", seems to be fairly accurate on helping with the selection process.... A call to one of their techs with this information can confirm it....
hey i am building or going backwards really on my 62..but here in the southren missouri backwoods its hard getting things done very fast but hope to drive it out of the shop again by spring
if anyone has some good quarter panels for 62 ford im all ears :) im lucky i made it back to the shop with those tires after blasting down the road with them..a few pics for ya'll

I have been seeing a few of these 1962 Fords around this year. It's worth saving. It needs a 406 with 3 carbs though.

Here I go again; complete 48 Dodge with title and a ton of good parts, $500. I'm sure I'll find some things I can use off of it. Anybody need anything? I'll make you deal before I start parting it out on Ebay.
You do have a knack of finding the old mopars hey falcon? I don't need another project but I have to say that is a pretty straight ol' girl.
That 62 is a beauty rclake, I do beleive there is a feller here that has a couple of those. I will go by his place tomorrow and take a look. Do you still have the old plymouth lancer in the woods? I would like to have that car, it is cool!
It is pretty straight, I hate to part it out but I think it's worth more in pieces. There's a few things I'll keep for myself. Just a lucky find, popped up on Craigslist last week.

Greg came over after he got off work and we started cutting on the Bronco II. Small roof and good pillars should make it a fairly easy chop. Didn't get much done tonight, layed out some lines and made a few preliminary cuts, got the center skin cut out of the roof....

I know if I do my 36 I'll have some sectioning to do...went down that road with my 69 Chevy. On the 69, I literally took everything apart....l separated the skin, windshield, pillars, and inner skin....then took what I needed out of the inner structure and made the outer skin to fit.
I'm not critiqueing....just very curious! :D

Dave was talking about TWO different vehicles, my T coupe and his Bronco II.
My T coupe has a plywood roof. I'm planning to take it off and put on one I can snap-on and off. Those T coupes are Very Hot inside so it will be a way of cooling it.
