Looking sweet. Nice custom cleaner! Check out Sanderson's for the custom headers. They are set up on their web site to help with this!
I like the air cleaner. Great ingenuity - or you can buy the one pictured below for $175!
Thats! I've got $10 invested in this one so I'll pass.:D
Falcon you will have to do a you tube vid on this Chevette when its done . Car looks good with all that Ford blue down inside the engine bay even though its a Chevy .
ACCKK!!!! Ford blue??!! Man, you sure know how to hurt a guy. I never did a tube vid before, but that's not a bad idea. Might help it sell quick.
If you just relocate the distributor it might even pass as a Ford!
I guess there isn't anything wrong with Ford blue on a Chevy engine installed in a Mopar!
Somehow it all sounds perfectly logical to me, Steve.....
The important thing is starting with the Ford!
Dave you and I are rare birds in a sea of GMC'ers! BUt blue has always been better than orange even in football and baseball!:D
New wires on now with better fit but still dont have the stock retainers for the V covers . Once i get all the 37 stuff off the hood and find it some storage space it wont happen soon . Though back in the 80's or so didn't Chevy have a blue engine also .
Here is some Ford blue also .

Yeah, but if we admitted it was a chebbie blue engine, what would we pick on Steve about?????:LOL::LOL:
PS--I think he should buy my pickup, then I could deliver it and have a good excuse to go west and warm up!!!!!!!;)
I'd love your pickup, but I think one old ford is about all I can afford right now!:D
