I got a few good days in; got my motor mounts and crossmember made and tacked it. On the crossmember I cut some 1/4 steel plate, welded some bolts to it and drilled some holes in the floor board for the bolts to come through. Then I bolted the crossmember in from underneath. The plates should support it, I think. the crossmember is made from 3/8 steel bar; it was a door actuator arm from a freight elevator. Also started patching the firewall and tunnel back it. the firewall center is recessed back 6" for clearance and I'm using 16 gauge to build the tunnnel.

Falcon it is a darker blue flash seems to lighten it in pics . The Chevette is moving right along looky there engine all mounted and with the trans .
I am spending some time cleaning up garage today to get back on Stang for spring .
Looking also at the room looks like you have about as much as the A for exhaust room . Have you got a combo in the works yet for it ,
I tried ram horn manifolds but no go. I ordered a set of Speedway block hugger headers, we'll see what happens when they get here.

I'm not too well informed on what Ford offers, Bobby. Somebody mentioned Sandersons; they probably make something but they're a little pricier than plain jane headers. Good news, I got the Speedway blockhuggers in the mail yesterday and it looks like they're going to do the trick after some slight modification. $59.00, you cant go wrong.
Cheap enough at $59 when it says Ford it still pricey . So far $100 plus for what I have found been looking at the swaps but mostly Chevy stuff at all of them its so popular .
