Got one of the shop guys taking the Plymouth apart. Front suspension pieces are on order. Should get the rear suspension, fenders, and boards off tomorrow, then remove the body and get the fram ready for it's upgrade!!! Sure is fun working on one this nice, heck the gas tank isn't even rusted out!!! The owner is coming up on Saturday so we can make plans for the rest of the build! Looking forward to it!

Dave that is one clean body shouldn't take to long once the direction is established . You will be rockin and rolling on that that soon specially with all that walking room around you . I've been tinkering but no heavy progress on the stang keeping the garage clear though so it's easier to do that .
No bites on my A so I am thinking of popping the flathead in it and working it to a driver may go better this way .
That thing looks great, Dave. It must be exciting to do a project like that without having to address major body repairs. I can't wait to watch this one develop.

Well, I got the motor pulled back out and the fireewall finished up and painted. The color's a little off but it's pretty close so I guess I'll leave it. Now I just need to go back inside and finish all the tack welds holding the tunnel together before I put the engine back in. Also found out that Chevy vans use the same gauge cluster but have 5 MPH more on the speedo plus oil pressure and temp gauges so I'm going to swap that in.
Falcon would be nice but the A is the funding for the 37 afraid to use my money right now economy . But I do know your building it right so its going to be a great car .
Good find on the cluster also with the extra gauges and all, Chevy was saving some cost there .
The owner of the '36 Plymouth is coming up tomorrow to chat about the car, sounds like it will be getting one of the new style Hemi's for power!!!! Should be fun! Busy, busy week and no slacking off this weekend. Lots of catching up to do!
Just a couple shots from around the shop..... Did a bit of work today, took the body off the frame on the Plymouth and finished welding the new quarters on the Camaro. The Vette just got wheels painted, new center caps and trim rings, a bit of touch up on the paint....

I think these are time delayed on TV. It is sunny out now at my house, it's 4:45 and I'm about 30 minutes away from Pomona. So maybe they will still get it done.

It's a decent shop, not really big enough or laid out properly but it's workable... Once things are on the proftiable side, then an addition is in the works to get the sanding dust and welding/grinding sparks in a separate part and away from the cars going together... For now, I'll put up a couple divider curtains....
Dave-You have a very nice place, I don't think we ever finish our shops, there is something we think that can be improved the more we use it.
