I got it from Steve Morris in Michigan.
Got a little further on the dash yesterday. I made plugs out of PVC to form the gauge wells, since these gauges are too big for the original bezel opening.

I did the kitty hair "form the bezel to the dash deal" again. Used vinyl & spray Pam as a release agent.

I welded some strap aluminum to the top & bottom to stiffen up the bezel & to provide a place for rubber mounting grommets.

Got the bezel just setting in place. It's being held in by the dash bar. Close enough to see what it'll look like.

Nice work. Spending the time and effort you do on your projects are an inspiration. You're a hero :D
If you don't tickle yourself, you tickle me! That is very cool Pro, your a hoot, one of the best. Very nice the way it looks like a stock fit.
Pro, that is just slicker than snot. :D
Looks great Pro!
Pro, that looks awesome! That is one bad hog of a sheet metal brake you've got there. You definately need to send pics to some of the car magazines; no doubt they'd do a story on your car.
Cleaned up the truck and did a few short trips around town. I've got a few small things to finish and some minor bugs but I'm pretty happy for a 60 year old drivetrain. Definately not going anywhere fast but a fun little cruzer.
Thanks everybody. Falconvan, that truck looks like fun.
Hey Falcon, good to see the pick-em-up out and motortating!!!!! As usual, nothing I own is even close to moving under it's own power.....
Pro great job with the dash build I heard its very tricky heating it just right so not to crack .
Falcon seems your rodding quicker then you originally thought . The truck came out looking real good and sits just right .
Well after 11 years the left front brake system is on , cleaned master cylinder and painted cast iron , installed the master and put in most the front brake lines . best day I've had in a while felt good getting this one going .
This car will need a serious bath to get off years and years of dust .
Looks good Bluestang!
Looks good, Bobby! When's the launch date?
Looking great Bluestang, that baby is starting to take shape, keep that nose to the grind stone.
Where is a good place to get some lower a-arms for a early 70's chevell?
