I had space issue as well with the 36. I went with just the braket assembly from Progressive Automotive.... http://www.progressiveautomotive.com/brake.htm
There should be quite a few options for smaller brake booster/master cylinder options. Its a push rod style like others have mentioned. Believe me....I was sweating the ammount of space I had to place it. I'll be making my own push rod.
I'm sure your aware of all the options....I'm just making sure.
I wish I wasnt on call this week. Makes it too hard to get started on something knowing I'll probably get a call. :LOL::LOL:

Yeah, I was studying things a bit today, the brake will work just fine, just going to take a bit of linkage. No big deal. Got the rear floor cut and fit today, think the seats he's using are out of a Honda of some sort, they sure do fit nice!!!
I got the rear end all set up and started on the front end. The motor mounts will be put in sometime next week. (lol) Im not the best with computers and cant figure out how to attach my pics so check my pics.

I got one side of the rear frame mitered and boxed. Turned out pretty good. Going to add a cross brace to stiffen up the rear even more and provide a location for relocating the shocks. We're going to buy a new 'smuggler's box' lid and use that material to build the bed width back as close to origial as possible. I really not all that sure why the folks cut out the bed or the tubs. Even with the 11" wide tires they wouldve fit in the orginal wheel house. They couldve just chopped the frame and left the bed. Oh well. I'm going to try to make it so he can at least load up a 4-wheeler if he wants.

Im trying to figure out what his rear disc calipers are. Do all GM late model Metrics mount the same? I'm concidering swapping for a pair of 79-85 Cadillac Seville calipers so he will have an emergency brake. Next week we'll finish the other frame rail. Got plenty to do. Really want to get back to work on the 36. :D

Thanks Ted. I'll let him know. I think he kind of likes them though. So far we havent been hammered with a ficticous tags violation....maybe due in part that Arkansas only uses the rear tag.Quote:
