Ummmmmmmmmm what kinda of things did the coupe tell about me? It didn't say anything about how frustrated I was with switching it's cowl did it?? I always wondered about how it got all of it's wrinkles; did it share that story with you Dave?Quote:

Got a bit more done.... Spent some time on the rear fenders for the coupe, got the area around the rear window blocked, and got the lower part of the right corner done on the front of the 'maro....
And now the bummers: Wednesday is "Dr. Day", 4 appointments at the VA, and Thursday I have to go to a funneral, then hurry back to Madison to man the question and answer table for the Spring Open House at the store for my pal (and partner on a few projects) Steve. The funeral is for a friend of mine, hate to say it but it's one of those deals where death is probably a better alternative to the life he had..... Still a sad day, though. Should get a huge morale boost at the Open House though, usually a lot of fun and a chance to chat with all the people I haven't seen all winter cuz I stay locked up in the garage!!!!!!!
They are both lookin' better all the time Dave.
BTW: I don't talk to my car too often. I don't like the attitude it gives me sometimes.
Thanks Pro! My cars don't usually give me a lot of attitude, usually they just tell me how they would like to be built!!!! However, ever since I made Pepper the shop manager, he just keeps getting a little more demanding every day!!!!Quote:

The coupe looks nice, great work. Another question about the area just below the left quarter window opening that was just about totally destroyed, how did you fix that up? Got a picture of that area? Attached picture shows the area.
Tom
Yeah, it's all fixed... Just a bit of pulling and some dingin' and pingin'... I'll get a pic of it next time I'm out in the garage....sounds like that won't be til Friday.....
That looks like a challenge....
Started mocking up the dash tonight. The "AC" unit doesn't fit completely under the dash, but I think I have a plan.

Good looking dash, who makes that?
Dave God be with you friend . I have one thats a Quad and has been in a chair since he was 21 from drugs . Glad i like cars .
I remember Pro saying he never gets enough time to get to the marro. since i've been here i have seen a whole lot of progress that he does.
Dave and you rip em out constantly . I think i need to get lessons from every one here on how to get to the garage after the normal day is over .
So many guys here at CHR making some great headway . Tell me is there a book that says get out there LOL. You guys are great and do give lots of inspiration .
I get the hour in here and there but not near as much as i would like .
Well, my normal day is all day in the garage....
I'm getting as much done as I can now because I soon will be too busy with work (I hope, got to buy food). Seven trucks to letter for a const. co. tomorrow, so my slow time might be coming to an end.
Dave. I've had the dash for awhile. If I remember right it was from fiberglass unlimited. It's going to need some work, (Got some flaws) not to mention I chopped it all up.
Oh well, if it was easy everybody would be doing it!!!!!  :LOL:Quote:
