    If the mount is extremely loose, can end up with the fan blade making terrible noises when it contacts the fan shroud or whatever other obstruction it meets up with!!!!! Old 60's chebbies used to do it a lot, and also lock the carb to gas pedal linkage WFO!!!!!! Made for some exciting rides in traffic!~!!!!!

    PS---Once I bought a Fairmont wagon from a dude (school teacher) that made terrible noises when it started, got it for $100 cuz he figured the starter ring gear and the starter where junk.... I replaced one of the starter bolts that had fell out, tightened the other one and drove the car for 3 years!!!!!
