Those are store bought, Hagan's makes them. I use some of their tailights and headlight components. They also make some first rate fuel filler doors and a lot of other goodies....Quote:

I have a dumb question for you guys, I am going to put that big cam in my BB mopar and I will have to have a stall. I have not had any experience with them. Do they act like a normal tranny during normal operation? I know they are need to kick out earlier for high idle engines but what else do they do and what should I expect. Also any suggestions on where and what kind to buy would also help. Thanks

Dave if you put a wet brush down i'm sure it's very good . If you did it with out a refridgerator magnet it has to be exceptional .

Well by the time I went for a new breaker for the welder :whacked: and a few other derailments, I did at least get the bases welded to the hinges. Welds aren't real purdy', but they are stuck together. Welds get covered up Ann E. Way. shhhhh don't tell Ann E. Body. :LOL:

A little higher stall than stock won't hurt anything. Put a good trans cooler on it. I had a 2,800 in my panel truck with a BBC and pulled a camper all over the country with no problems. The higher the stall the more heat it will generate. It all depends what you plan to use it for. If you plan to race, you would want to match the stall to the optimum power range of the engine. If your driving on the street a 5,500 stall wouldn't be too practical. Just have to find the converter that's best for the application.
