The button will be for a trans brake or a shifter. Haven't decided yet.
I'm not familiar with that, like a F1 paddle shifter? Is the trans break like a line lock?
The trans brake engages Low & reverse @ the same time. Locks up the tranny so you can get up on the converter. Let go of the "button" and away you go. :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: Shift button would be for a Co2 actuated shifter.
Pro70 never really new how they worked . So thats how you guys get it cranking and moving all in one motion .
I see, that is sweet new tech, you can get right up on the pipe that way. That is very cool and so is the CO2 shifter is very cool, I learned about them at monster mopar weekend in St. Louis last year. They are very smooth and very fast.

Found more stuff on the front steps today. Got the wheel tubs & the deck lid. Oh, & I got the correct steering u-joint too. Still need to find a 3/4''x3/4'' spline to spline joint, since JB says they don't carry them {even though there's a pic. of one in their catalog} In their defense it is a 2002 catalog.

Pro70 the cam is looking good no holes left . Well when you go to 66 since im so close i think that will have to be a day i trip out there too.
I finally got they 94 mustang pedals and clamped them up for a site . They look alot better then the 67 pedals i was going to install. With the clutch cable mechanism being thru the bracket and coming out on the right the fit should go well. The booster is a bit larger then i wanted may have to do something different there . Still studying this brake system stuff and will have to look at a few more apps before i do the firewall up .
Looks good, Bobby. I'm trying to decide whether to go with a floor mount master cylinder/pedal assembly or a firewall mount. What made you go with this?
Falcon thanks . I like hanging pedals and just wanting to seal out the outside as best i can . Floor pedals are ok for a era look in a A but i want to bring this up with parts from the 80 and 90's also the theme being all ford .
I chose under floor because I like the look of a very clean firewall, I never really looked at it as nostalgic but I guess it really is.
Brick like you i like them in the floor too in certain cars , for this one i am looking for new hardware to build with and a stick is utmost important for me so ill try these and test fit if they present to much probs off to another set from something else ??? probe , focus but it has to be Ford . When i got my 48 fleetmaster back in 82 it had a hanger from a Caddy with its tilt tele also . I still have the hood emblems and rear view mirror from it .
So far even the steel for bracing is from Ford so im holding with the theme . LOL
The front suspension being Heidts has a Ford bolt pattern hope that counts but it was a ride and safety choice and what i know my capabilitys were able to do . It was a very simple install .
I have seen some sweet three cylinder twin pedals in speedway I have been wanting to try, everything is under the dash. I always thought that would be great for a bucket or a highboy. I also was thinking of that set-up in my dart to help clean up the dash.
I finished the install on the new gauges today, next hook everything up in the console tomorrow.
The gauges look great, Brick!!! Shouldn't be long til it's all done, huh???
Brick gauges are great . Picking gauges is a chore on its own .
