My car got written up in the latest issue of Popular Hotrodding in the "Under Construction" section. I got my mag in the mail yesterday and was thumbing through it and "BAM" there it was! I was so blown away!!!

Congrats, That is only the beginning for your car. It is for sure magazine material from what we've seen of the build so far.

Congrats Nova thats a high honor .
Well after putting engine in daughters b/fs 95 olds last weekend and pulling it today to change out flywheel. It was the same diameter but GM put the 99torque converter bolt holes out a little furthar about 3/16 of a inch not letting them line up . So today had to yank it and change flywheel to 95 one . Well its done running and away from my house . He helps out on the A so thats the least i could do for him .
Well did get the crossbar in at the rear . Also started on the trans crossmember . But big snafu was when i did the sides i have them so close to bellhousing i wont be able to get a battery in under floor . So i will cut out 6 inches and move the front back a bit and fix my first snafu.
Glad Don (itold) was talking about a battery .
Looking good Bob.. The daughter's car fiasco sounds normal...Been there done that!!!!
Way to go Novanut, another CHR member in the Rags! This place has the best of the best I have always said.
Chassis is looking really good Bluestang, starting to look stout as hell.
I'm going to days at work for the summer hope to really make some head way . Be able to get more hours in not having to get ready for work in the afternoon .
Dave yep this kind of wrenching on cars bring out the sore knuckles .
Brick sounds like your going to have a concert hall in the Chevy .
Ya, the hearing isn't what it used to be!
I finished the installation of my hidden door hardware, I can finally get in my car!
Never thought it would take so much thinking to put something together .Coming up with a idea for a transmount took a bit . It would have been easier if there was no tilt to the trans im sure . Triying to keep with the 45 deg look of the webbing . This is what i came up with its still in rough stages but i'm geting it close . Plans are to unbolt when needed still have to put drops in then brace to frame .
That looks strange sitting sideways like that, meaty though, very cool. It's going to be plenty stout by the looks of it.
Still causes me to tilt my head Brick but its normal . I hope stout is in the works thats a hard part of learning to build .
Got the 400 in the shop right now. Going .030 and looking about 350hp coming along pretty good next step is paint and stickers and suspension. pictures to come soon. To many projects 83 trans am with 350, 86 h.o. mustang, 74 nova getting parted out! 86 v-6 firebird, 54 ford with chevy guts, and a 80 monza on the way.
Hi preyn and welcome in all great people here and top notch builders. Except for me im learning .
No jack or rope trans is hanging on its own mount . My hat is off to you guys again my brain hurts from all that thinking .
That should hold it. Tired of measuring angles yet????
