Ok, that last piece just proves it, you are evil ! No human being can crank out stuff like that and make it look so easy. :D:D
So how did you hurt your elbow? Sue catch you looking at some cutie up in Nashville.
Don
Pounding back a few ciders?
Hahaha, I don't gloat
Reminds me of about 20 years ago, I had made an exterior mirror in aluminium and this guy comes up and says "where did you buy that its lovely" I replied i made it, he then says "how" I replied that i took a block of aluminium and cut off the bits that didn't look like a mirror !!! He just went "right" and wandered off
Thanks for the compliments mate.
Charlie i deciced to design my own thread  Just a typo mate, thanks for pointing it out.
Not his time Don  It was on the monday we left you, Sue got out the shower and wet the floor, I went walking in and whoosh my legs were gone, I went flat on my back but i think my elbow took the full force, there was blood everywhere so Sue thought i had split my head open but infact i had split my elbow open, I had the tile imprint on my back !!!
I had a headache and my back ached but i felt ok but within an hour my elbow swelled up real bad, anyway i wasn't going to hospital on holiday so i got it checked when we got home and its got a bad fracture, bloody painful i can tell ya.
I put the mirror on last night to get a better idea how it looked, I'm happy with it.

That looks terrific Steve...................but it's on the wrong side ;):D
Steve I hate to say this, but it just doesn't look right. I think maybe a slightly different design is in order, but don't fret, they will go great on my truck! So you won't have to waste them!:D:D:D:LOL::eek:
Steve, like the mirrors. As fast as this is going to be,what make you think your going to have time for them??.LOL
I tried that Once! I slowly removed all the bits that did not look like they belonged there. The only problem is that when I finished all I had was a pile of metal shavings and dust....................... My only conclusion is there really was not a part hiding in that chunk of metal after all................
Help, I'm in a bit of a dilemma as i just got offered 2 new front wheels, they are A.R.E. 5 spoke magnesium spindle mounts, 4" x 15", they are complete with spindles, bearings, discs and calipers, they have been offered to me at a cheaper price than what they are advertised at, I know they would be perfect but do I or don't I ???

They look like they would be a fantastic addition to the car.
Why help? Take em! Or are you thinking it won't go with the retro 60's look? They do look nice and the packaged stuff sounds great!
Not too different from these with your blue flake color scheme should work great!

Steve not worried about the look as these are what they used way back then. It's the expenditure !!! They are £800 ($1265) and that's a special price to me !!!
Yikes
I see what you mean. Lots of cash in these tough times!
Seems everything cost more now. Well if it's what you want It seems still like a good deal.
You only go round once
Heck what a problem and you just returned from holiday too. I would get Sue to pickup 2 or 3 part time jobs on top of what she does now to pay for her shoe collection and she can pay for them as a gift to you for taking her to USA.:)
Spending other people's money is always more fun.......................GO FOR IT!!!
BTW, over on the Hamb parts for sale is an NOS T handle marked "Chute Release".........................you need that too!
Steve, you better check to see if Sue has been taking out any extra life insurance on you !:LOL:
Years ago my wife was filling ice cube trays in the sink and putting them in the refridgerator. As she was making the trips she was spilling some on our tile floor. I walk very fast and before she could warn me I was laying on my back on that hard, tile floor. So I know how you felt. It would be so easy to really hurt yourself that way.
Don
Sue made up for it that night http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...mileys-941.gif
