My buddy has a 94 chevy with a stock tbi 305 in i, he is wanting to build a good size engine for it using the stock 305 and carbing it, my question is are there any good 305 combos out there or could you reccommend a 305 build, he does plan to take it to the track about once or so every few months, it will be a weekend type driver, won't be driven much other than cruising and down the track. He wants in to have a pretty healthy sounding idle to it with good power also. Any help would be appreciated as I havn't built a 305 before.
