The only thing that makes a 305 a deal is the fact you can get perfect running 305s for free to 200 bucks and put less than 500 dollars into it and have 300 hp.
I recieved my 305 with a fresh .030 bore ,new pistons..10 under crank and balanced with a eddybrock intake and carb with rams horns for 75 dollars and you could still see the crosshatch in the cylinders.
This is my standard reply to the 305 dislikers,300 hp is good,it is more than all but the newest mustangs came with,ever drive a 5.0 thats only 200 to 240 stock at best and they scream.Ever drive a z-28 camero thats only 275 hp.The new car adds act like 300 hp factory in there new cars is boss,why aint it boss with 300 hp from a 305 ?
