Pin 4 of the voltage regualtor (circuit 20 ga. brn wire) goes to terminal 1 (spade connector) of the alternator. This operates the charge lamp. Pin 2 (other spade connector) can be jumped to the output terminal.
The output (charge wire, 12 ga. red) also goes to the output terminal.
