Kewl, ya gotta have signs!!!!!!!!! That wheel really came out nice, Pro!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got a few more pieces tacked in the back of the 'maro for the suspension.... Now it's time to get some tubing and start on the roll bar, gonna be a 6 point.
Ordered the coilovers for the rear, went with the Pro shocks and the 4-6 valving and 110 lb. springs.... They'll be on the front of the housing, upper mounts for the coilovers will tie into the roll bar.... Should have this floppy old unibody tied together fairly well----finally!!!!
Hey guys, havent touched base for a while, looks like everyone's been busy. Nice looking wheel, Pro! That's some fine skills to be able to build something like that. Looks like you're busy, too, Dave. I've been buried in rental houses for the last few months but hope to get some garage time shortly. One house is ready to rent and the other is about two weeks away. I'm renting that one to my daughter and son in law so I dont have to find a renter, just finish up a few items so they can move in. OH yeah; I bought this. Why? I have no earthly idea other than that it has the steering wheel on the wrong side. How about a V8 powered right hand drive ice cream truck?
Kewl truck!!!! Think it needs a Hemi!!!!! The right hand drive makes it double kewl!
Thanks Dave & Falconvan. That is a kewl Ice Cream truck. All kinds of possibilities.
I figure it's a good thing to have around with grandkids. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it yet, probably just clean it up and get it streetable for now.
You could also sonvert the freezer units to cooler units and make it a portable beer dispenser! :3dSMILE:
Cool van. Also might make a great tool truck for mobile projects!
It's a 72; I'm not much of a drinker but maybe I'll load it with ice cream and show up. It's still got a freezer in it.
Time to work on the "Z" for a change. I cut the flanges out for the intercooler tubes to pass through the firewall. Ready to turn to size on the lathe.

I put a groove around the edge of the flange for the firewall sheet metal. Once I install the o-ring and get in place I'll check the new gap with a feeler gauge and make a soft gasket to seal the flange to the firewall

Engine side of the flange bored to size for the tubes.

Got everything mocked up. The flanges on the windshield will be added to the inlet side. I'll turn those once I get the V-band clamp. Should be here any day. The outlet side attaches to the carb bonnet with hose & clamp.
