Okay guys, I can use some input. I'm thinking of having some louvers put in my hood. I've never had any on any vehicle before. With that said, are they a pain due to allowing water on the engine after a wash, or a pita due to drawing too much heat? I'm guessing not, but I figured I'd ask. I can't decide how many and how far to go either. I'm thinking do over the engine area which would be roughly 2/3 of the hood. What are your guys's thoughts? Thanks Ryan.Ryan

Well, if you want an honest response......I hate 'em!! Whatever benefit of heat escape they may offer is offset by what a PITA it would be to clean around them, water drips on the engine plus the disruption of the smooth flow of the '40 hood! But other than all that, I suppose they're great! Hahahaha! Obviously, it's your car and I'll follow & applaud your build but I'm just not a fan of louvers. There, I said it.....
