Rich, I assume you're talking about a spacer to make up the gap from the old backing plate, right? If so, yes, there is a spacer in the kit for that. I chose this kit because it allows me to keep my existing wheel bearings which are still in good shape. It also makes provision to mount a Mustang splash/dust shield if I want. The downside is that it is best to use the anti-moan brackets for extra caliper stability and to eliminate any low speed/reverse moan.

If you need to replace your wheel bearings, Mustang Steve at mustangsteve.com also make a kit which he says doesn't need the anti moan brackets. You do have to replace the wheel bearings to install part of his mounting bracket though. His kit doesn't make a provision for a splash/dust shield, which he said he didn't think you really need.
