OK - my turn for a short rant and rave. I just installed my 'fancy' Pacific Western Mighty (NOT!!)wiper motor a little while ago - and the @#$%@#$ thing fried after 2-4 strokes while testing. That's $115 down the toilet. I just ordered a $29.95 universal motor from Speedway which should be here early next week. DAM' DAM' DAM' it all. I do have to say that the wiring did look a bit puny so maybe it's just another POS that gets foisted on street rodders
Randy - I do like those brakes!!
Also, I moved the rear end forward 1/2"to3/4" so it does now look a bit better as far as being centered. This is all the adjustment that there was left on the 4 bars. I might even let it go at this point (until it bothers me, that is)Dave W

Do you not have any recourse on the wiper motor? Had it too long to send it back?
Thanks for the kudos on the brakes. I'm anxious to see if they actually work!
Glad you got your rearend moved forward. It's not good when it sticks out too far....Now, you have to post more pics of it so we can tell you if it's enough......

No recourse on the wiper motor - I've had it for a couple years. Those universals will work forever even though they aren't the best looking
The diff - it still should go forward another 1/2"-3/4" but I'm also starting to run out of drive shaft slip yokeThat's when things get expensive, so it might stay that way.
It's coming off the stands tomorrow and I'm going to try to get my NY safety inspection done that's now 3 weeks overdue. The W/S wiper on an 'A' roadster was an option anyhow, so no big deal there with it missing.Dave W

Sorry to learn of the wiper motor. I think the one I have is gonna be toast also. It just doesn't seem to have the beans to work well. It really struggles and since I've had it for 6 or 7 years....
I hope the stance is "good enough" Dave and you get to ride around this summer! Maybe I'll get to see it in Burlington????

The next Longbeach swap meet is Aug. 8 and Pomona is Aug 15. I've never been to the one in Longbeach but one of the other guys posted some pics from it on here recently. I think a "business" trip to SoCal sounds like a great idea!!!
