ok so I got it figured out. the camaro is all metric which I knew, but what I didn't realize is that there is a metric flare - a bubble flare. I picked up a couple standard inverted flare to bubble flare adapters. I forgot the banjo bolts so I'll have to go back, but at least my issue seems to be solved. Thanks for the help.'35 Ford coupe- LT1/T56, '32 Ford pickup, 70 GTO convertible, 06 GTO

Cool! I'm glad you got it figured out. I don't remember if you said you're adapting the Camaro brakes to a 9" Ford or do you have a Chevy rear in your car?
It's always the little things that slow us down, it seems. Forgetting the banjo bolts sounds like something I would do...."It is not much good thinking of a thing unless you think it out." - H.G. Wells

.....now let's see..... the AN 37* adapter and next a conventional 45* double flare into then a metric bubble flare into the GM metric calipersDave W

camaro brakes on a chevy 10 bolt. I had assumed your american brakes would be similar to my american brakes, but I forgot the camaro is metricso i guess our situations aren't quite as similar as I had expected
Dave- my lines are double flare so I have a 45* flare hard line into the 45* flare to bubble flare adapter into the metric hose to the caliper. If I had remembered about the metric calipers before buying the hoses I would have tried a standard hose with just a metric banjo bolt maybe?'35 Ford coupe- LT1/T56, '32 Ford pickup, 70 GTO convertible, 06 GTO

weekend update
I'm sure it looks like I'm moving really slowly on this rear disc brake conversion but it takes a while for all the stars to align in the right phase of the moon....blahblahblah.....
Anyway, this week I acquired a LH anti-moan bracket and proceeded to modify it for my application. I cut off the factory clamp and fitted it to my 3" clamp. I tacked it in place then removed it for welding. I cut a little support piece and welded it all up and painted it. I could weld straighter if I could actually see through my freakin' mask! It's an auto-darken unit and soon as the weld starts, it gets really hard to see what's going on. Maybe I need a new helmet...
Anyway, it's welded and I don't think it will break anytime soon. When the paint dries, I can mount it.
Also mounted the housing under the car today, hooked up the sway bar, etc. I keep thinking if I dilly dally long enough, a 9" pumpkin w 3.89 gears & traction loc will appear at a reasonable price. If it doesn't, I'll stick the old pumpking back in for now so I can get the car back on the ground and do other stuff..."It is not much good thinking of a thing unless you think it out." - H.G. Wells

Looking good from here Randy! Does your helmut not have adjusters for shading and speed?? You can't weld it if'n you can't see it!
All in all, it looks great!
And I agree with Dave, unless you can keep the axle ends centered in the middle, don't roll the car around as you risk bearing damage. You could use a tube or pipe to accomplish this. Just needs to slip over the splines.
That's going to be nice, like the color. .
