    thanks Rich. With the description, yes the hard line is a double flare. Basically, the hard line going into the rubber hose like it is right now would look like this <> which I know won't work. I don't know what flare the hose is. Randy- I tried taking a pic of the rubber hose, but I'm trying not to open the sealed bag in case i have to take it back and I can't take a picture through the bag. I think the hoses are metric bubble flares? It looks like maybe I can get an adaptor fitting to make it work. Sound right? sorry, I didn't mean to hijack your thread Randy.

    Hey, no worries about hijacking the thread. We have a hodge podge of things happening on this thread anyway. If we can get your questions answered, it makes us happy. I'm not overly familiar with fittings, adapters, etc. but they do seem to make an adapter for about everything. Maybe you could take the hose & the hard line to your parts store and see if they have a fitting that'll work for you. Or maybe one of these other guys can tell you which one you need. Keep us posted on what you find.
