The "very" same thing happened to me Jim but I think it was because of copyrights and not politics.
I made the mistake of saving it to watch later and ended up not being able to view it here at home.

I was only half way convinced that my wife was right. Her sister is a Dem/Lib - so she has had a fair number of years to define this. My wife says that Dem/Libs can do fine in any argument - that is until you can confront them with facts. Then they either change the subject or excuse themselves and leave (think - ostrich with its head stuck in the sand). We have presented our Dem/Lib friends with real life facts, but they just don't hear what we say. I honestly DO NOT care what peoples political leanings are, as long as they take the time to review their position with legitimate research with real and unbiased sources, make a conscious decision that this is the best way for them - THEN VOTE!!! If that person does NOT vote, as far as I'm concerned, he loses his right to any comments, here, in person or any where else. He is just another uninformed and uncaring American (and I think I can't say citizen any longer with so many UDDs* )

Gary - I have to take some exception to your posts. You live in NY State as I do. We have been ruled by Democrats for now ~6 years(Spitzer/Paterson?/A. Cuomo). In that time, this state has just been reported today to have fallen to the worst state, number 50, as having the poorest business climate, even below Calif. and Michigan. Additionally, you chose the Thruway to belabor - guess what - after last years 15% increase in tolls, it will now again be increased by another 45%. An example - about 3 weeks ago I traveled with my 34' trailer pulled by my F350 153.5 miles (Exit 42 to Exit 27). That toll was $27.15 or ~18 cents/mile. When the increase takes effect, it will be about $39.40 or ~26 cents/mile. Recall who is governor? Recall which party controls the Assembly? The Senate is controlled by the Republicans, but there are a couple that wander over the line - my local guy, MacDonald, but he just lost the primary and will not run again along with a Western NY guy.

OK, that Truway - now, go take a ride in the country and see how many family farms have fallen to ruin. Mario Cuomo was responsible for the 'death' taxes that are often more then a farm can be sold for in this climate.

NY City - Bloomberg. Yeah, I know an independant, after being a lifelong Dem, switching to GOP then away.

I can go on and on. My county, Saratoga, is one of the few solvent county in NY State and is run by - guess who, the GOP who have created a good business climate for companies to build. We also have the 4th lowest of 64 counties unemployment 6.9% in NY State - the rest of the counties above Saratoga have small populations.

    Oh well, said enough!!

Gary - I just wish that you would do that unbiased information research, especially dealing with NY State

(My apologies to others that may live in CA and MI - and I'm originally from MI)

He's a politician! If his lips are moving he's LYING!
And for the record... our President said he would end the war and bring the boys home. He lied, actually started another front and brought us into Afganistan.. So now we fight 2 wars! He said he'd close Gitmo in 6 months.. He lied! He said he would run a balanced budget.. yep, more falacies ... In 40 months he's added 5 TRILLION to the deficit!!

On all the important topics. He has failed. He pushed thru a bill that NO-One has even read in it's entirety! For that, they ALL need to go!

It won't be long and we'll be in the same position as Greece and Portugal... We the people must re-take control and put the politicians back into their place. They are servants to the people, no more - no less!

But what I said was from the beginning the tolls where supposed to be temporary. Care to guess how many parties have been in office since the beginning of the tolls??.
Then from my comments about the tolls you want to expand to unemployment to failing farms??. Sorry but I don't get the connection.Oh ok you want to tag the Democrats.
The family farms first. All across the country corporate farming has undermined the family farms and either you learn how to compete or close up the farm. Really that is the big picture.
NYS taxes. It's true this state has some of the higher taxes. But on balance it also has more programs for gateways to businesses and more jobs. In fact the unemployment level fell below the Federal requirement level from Jul to Oct so the EB benefits to the unemployed could not be paid. Do you know here in Monroe county to pick fruits they are paying $14.00/hr and can't get enough workers to do the job??. OMG some are with full benefits from day one!!.

    Thumbs up

My fellow NYS'er I still hope your going to make it to one of Rochester's cruise nights. Just think to yourself at one of those local cruise events looking over all those cars that are there and think about how much money is there parked in that lot. The money had to come from somewhere. And it is in the tens of thousands of dollars while living here in NYS.

i want to see the law that makes it illegal to become successful. i want to see proof that romney did something illegal to earn his wealth. i can not believe anyone could possibly believe if he had that the irs would not be up his butt with a microscope .

on another site they were making a big deal about romney and his wife having approx 250k invested in chinese companies. the romney's wealth is stated at 250 million. in a trust administered by his lawyer. show me a hedge fund without chinese investments or without big oil . show me a retirement fund without big oil or toyota . your 401k's are as much of the problem as anybody else.

    Why not vote "absentee", Bob?
The missus and I have both sent in our "straight Republican" ballots already because of the crowded conditions that will exsist at the voting places of the new neighborhood we have recently moved to and I DON'T DO CROWDS very well at all.

Um, I've reread the sentence...............I'm pretty sure the "DON'T DO THAT" refers to the complacency, or ambivalence portion of the prior sentence. My apologies if that's unclear.
