And gary, I respectfully disagree with you! The system works the same as it has for more than 200 years! It's flexible and malleable. If any part of it is broken, it's that far to few people get involved and pay real attention to the issues.
What's wrong today I feel is that far to many are self serving. What's in it for me? That mentality will doom us.
.... Have you noticed how "they" are all arguing who gets what for millions? What happened to the american who had to much pride to get supported by the government?

My feelings exactly. When I was a kid, it was shameful to have to be on unemployment and you got off it as soon as possible. You washed windows or picked up pop bottles to turn them in for deposit or whatever you could do to make a little money. There was no welfare or food stamps in those days either.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

the last place i need information from is the comedy show. i watch none of that junk. i dont listen to Limbaugh , i dont pay any attention to hollywood . i take all this very seriously because i still have to work for a living. i know first hand what has happened to small business. i would love to put a couple of people to work but it is just a losing situation with the tax code and looming health care reforms. contrary to the media the economy is not growing. it is flat and will stay flat until after the election. then it will move. which direction depends on who is in office .

Guys, I'll say it again, do not make your posts here personal or this thread (and your ability to post anything even remotely political) disappears forever.
Enough said, AGAIN!!!!!Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

That was unkind, and I'm quite certain shine does not feel that way..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Shine I mean our government is functional. These show and tell elections are to appease the masses.A insult to my intelligence's.God help me if I where to be able to cap the salaries of these beltway Washington haft wits. Want to see someone who has been in business??. Well if this bankrupt government was my business the first thing I would do would to cut those salaries in haft and some serious lay-offs. Now we would be on a serious road to recovery. But no one talks about that,do they??. How can we overlook the billions spend on that??. Cost benefit??. Yepper that one is certainly in the toilet. Do we still have a system in government that works??. No,no,I don't think so.

Gary, I’m not trying to pick on you, just trying to understand what you are saying, maybe I’m not reading your posts correctly. Like Shine I really don’t understand.
In your last post you start out
“…….Shine I mean our government is functional……”
and end with
“……Do we still have a system in government that works??. No,no,I don't think so…..”
It's a little confusing,I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

What's new? Miami, Rickenbacker Causeway toll road, a roadtoo Key Biscayne has been doing the same for 40 YEARS. This just demonstrates that when you are told that a TAX is temporary, that statement should be a huge RED flag to the thinking person.
I give Atlanta congrats on this one, a month back lefty wanted a new tax to fix roads, add busses and a trolley. The helpful tax was going to be temporary.Old lefty was right there giving all the excuses promoting the increase. Forthe children, environment, old people, illegals, gays, you name it a new tax was needed.
Cheer Atlanta we defeated it soundly, went down big time. The lesson in some states people are able to see through the TAX scam. I just hope we will remember it the for the next TAX scam, and it is coming bet money on it.Last edited by pepi; 10-08-2012 at 06:29 AM.

Last night, the Obama campaign blasted out another email claiming that Mitt Romney's tax plan would either require raising taxes on the middle class or blowing a hole in the deficit. "Even the studies that Romney has cited to claim his plan adds up still show he would need to raise middle-class taxes," said the Obama campaign press release. "In fact, Harvard economist Martin Feldstein and Princeton economist Harvey Rosen both concede that paying for Romney’s tax cuts would require large tax increases on families making between $100,000 and $200,000."
But that's not true. Princeton professor Harvey Rosen tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD in an email that the Obama campaign is misrepresenting his paper on Romney's tax plan:
I can’t tell exactly how the Obama campaign reached that characterization of my work. It might be that they assume that Governor Romney wants to keep the taxes from the Affordable Care Act in place, despite the fact that the Governor has called for its complete repeal. The main conclusion of my study is that under plausible assumptions, a proposal along the lines suggested by Governor Romney can both be revenue neutral and keep the net tax burden on taxpayers with incomes above $200,000 about the same. That is, an increase in the tax burden on lower and middle income individuals is not required in order to make the overall plan revenue neutral.
You can check the math that shows Romney's plan is mathematically possible here.Charlie

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
