Hey, im somewhat of a novice when it comes to transmissions, i have a good solid knowledge of how they work and what does what. Anyway, i just got the monte running today and when i did the fluid never went through the cooler lines, No pressure, what could cause that? i put a new pump into it when i rebuilt it. I checked the fluid level and its still full so it didnt go and get pumped into the converter and run out of fluid in the pan. im just asking before i pull it out and take it apart maybe someon has a few suggestions. thanks, Joe
sounds like the pump is not turning or the pump gasket is blocking the fluid pick-up holes. check the pump gasket good. the valve body could be blocking the pick-up also. you may not have the conv. all the way in the pump. it hard to say.
