Thread: Guys with front exiting exhaust. I need your input please.

Mine exits just behind the firewall, right at the door edge pointing down at maybe a 30 degree angle or so and angled out maybe 20 degrees. It's baffled,but is still a pretty loud rumble at cruise, and loud to the point of wondering about needing hearing protection if you're into it all the way. Ask 34_40 and john boy, as both of them have ridden in it for highway stretches plus some cruising in traffic. I'm to the point that I'm thinking about alternatives for a possible future modification, but I really like the look, which one of my boys says is "the defining visual feature of the car". I think you'll be happier if you take the pipes out the back, over the long run.
