I'd have to agree with Roger, especially on a sedan which will most likely haul your family around on occasion. I'd definitely find a way to take the exhaust out the back even if you have some kind of dumps up front for racing & playing around. I know with my 66 shortbed F100, for a short period of time I ran with the exhaust turned down just before the rear axle until I had time to finish running it out the back. There was a huge difference of loudness in the cab even with 50series Flowmasters. I love great exhaust sounds but I don't have any interest in losing my hearing or yelling at my passengers to have a conversation.....
