I would recommend the F/E Eurosoft glazing putty. I have used it for about 15 years, it sticks to any sanded surface, feathers beautifully, and I never had a failure.
I recently tried a new, cheaper, Marson product, and had more shrinkage immediately. I'm back with the F/E now.
