It would ne nice to see the season out with a 9.59 timing ticket. But as long as she stays firmly in the 9's for the rest of this year I'll be very happy.
In fact I'm sort of looking forward to the end iof the season so we can start all those little jobs for next year
Make up some zoomies to see if they help on the dyno. I've always wanted 8 pipes rising from the hood !
Fit my transbrake gearbox is next on the list if I have time. I would rather break something testing transbrake launches this year so I have the winter to fix it
I'm re desinging all that gubbins on top of the blower to get rid of those awful adaptor plates. I've found a big chunk of ally that I will get milled into one neat plate that bolts to the blower but then has about 2" of rise under the carb so i can fit my direct port injectors undwer the dominator instead of the nos spray bar plate. This means I can save money as I wuill fit 4 fogger nozzles. Two for the first nitrous stage which is via the 20 year old progressive controller. And the other two for a fixed hit 2nd stage, or maybe progressive if I can find my spare controller. The list of little things to do is quite long.

But I'm thinking that if I fit the box with the transbrake I can launch with boost and leave the nitrous on delay for a couple of seconds off the line. I cant hold much rpm on the foot brake as the brakes dont hold over 2000rpm and I go through the lights early and pull a red when I try it. With the engine loaded on the footbrake at 1800rpm its only making 4psi of boost.
If the rear end is taking a small amount of boost with 50hp of nitrous off the line, and then another 100 shot of nitrous coming in over 0.9 of a second, by which time the boost has ramped up to 10psi, I reckon it should be able to cope with 10psi of boost right off the line and then bring in the nitrous 2 seconds after launch. Thats the theroy anyway.

I'm also thinking about a cam change. But I wont know what cam to even think about until I actually get this setup on the dyno hopefully next month. Cam are sort of black magic to me? But I have two friends who are well versed in cams and how to choose them for specific tasks

In the meantime I will sit back and wallow in my 9.69 seconds of fame until the next time out.
