Well, got a bit more done on the old '71. Back of the cab and front of the box have sealer on them and ready for paint. I'll get some paint on and set the cab back on next week. Replaced the two barrell with a 4 barrell, engine is almost ready to go, too. The old girl is looking ok, now I know why I've kept it for 15 years (Even though this is the closest it's ever been to done!).
Havn't got anything to report with the Chevy yet. probably gonna get it out of my grandparents barn next weekend.
You better get at that thing Matt, cruising season is upon us!!!

Don, I put a polished water pump on her, King chrome (Speedway) $99.00. Working well now that I got the leaks from the plugs stopped. What the little changes do for the engine help I think, plus it's always fun to put pretty's on the car!:)
Man Dave, you are going to town on that girl, she's looking close to paint huh? What color (or colors) are you going to use?

I have been working on getting a bud's duster up and running but managing to get a little nibble on mine once in a while. I am working on reconditioning my stock front signals. I am going to paint them silver like 3 bars of the grill are going to be. I am getting my remote entry this weekend as planned so just the rubbers and the glass left to buy. Next new windshield, I am looking forward to that.

Well, got the front and rear glass installed and the insulation mat put on the floor of the car. Next is the final buffing and try to get some shine in the paint. First car show/cruise isn't till May 20th, should make it easy.
Current shot of the interior *1980 El Camino* let me know what you guys/gals think. No radio and still with the old 1968 Gran Prix seats. I ordered new seats and should have them thursday.
