Got some more of the nasties ground off the back of the coupe and did some more blocking. Then did a bit more grinding and sanding on one of the rear fenders. It's coming along quite well, really...

Anxious to get the Coupe and my pickup done so I can spend more time on the 'maro and start fabbing up some suspension pieces for the Ranchero, want to get it sitting on all four this summer which will require finishing the frame, building the suspension, and building the cage.....

Nice car Bob, you are truely a craftsman.

I managed to get the engine compartment done on the Duster and even got the shifter and the line-loc installed. I also managed to get everything under my El Camino Hooked up and the gauges hooked up so I am very close to getting it started.
While helping a friend get a Belvedere today I found 6 49' and 50' fords for sale. 4 coupes and 2 4drs and they are in very good condition. They are stored under canopys. What are they worth he wants to know, I don't know?

Think we need to take a car over to Bob's and do some body work!!!! That'll mess it up good and proper!!!

Put a little time in on the coupe today, just got wore out too fast as usual.... About all I have left of the "nasties" on the body is the rear panel. Lots of dents to pound on......

Very smooth, Dave. I wish I had your eye for bodywork. My garage looks like a grenade went off in it right now; I'm planning on cleaning it after the truck is mobile. I got a lot of little stuff done this weekend; not much worthy of pics. I got mounts made for the front shocks and got them installed. Made a fuel pump block off plate for the flathead since I'm going electric. pulled the grille and radiator and added a couple more braces underneath; it had too much side to side movement. It's good now and back together. I was fishing through junk boxes and found a wiring harness with a good fuse box from a ?????? I was building and decided to use it. I've got the box mounted and starter and basic ignition circuits wired, also started on the headlight circuits. Finished up heater and radiator hoses. I found out about this "Peel & Seal" stuff on another website. It's really close to Dynamat at about 1/10th of the cost. Bought enough to do the floor for $35.00. Went to the boneyard and got a red 3rd seat out of a minivan. I think it's going to fit really nice. Oh yeah, my birthday is coming up Friday so hopefully there'll be more car parts coming. I'm getting anxious for a test run if you couldn't tell!

WOW again Dave!!!!!!! The coupe looks soooooooooooo good!!!!!
How'd you like grinding off that orginal paint on that right corner?
Well I got some pictures from the Car show/swap meet today at Webster FL.
I'll post the first one here for you Dave to drool over.... however the body work doesn't even come close to what do. I'll post the other ones under "Webster show".
I'll be signing off in a couple of hours.

Tom, that original paint is probably the toughest stuff I have ever had to grind off of a car!!!! It just laughs at sandpaper!!! Nothing less then 36 grit will even touch it!!!
