Finally got the brass bushing & stainless steel pins pressed in the hinges and am just about ready to install the doors. Seems like I've been working on the hinges forever. Guess thats what happens when I only have a few hours a month to work on the car. That should change during the winter months .... I hope.

Same for my son, he needs to work on patience. He doesn't understand the concept that the car doesn't care how mad at it you get, and forcing something usually ends up breaking it. But, that was me twenty years ago, too.:3dSMILE: On the brighter side, I did get my radiator mounted and started on the grille/lights.
I can see that this thread is going to have to catch up again also, no big deal, it seems to have a life of it's own.

Wow, great to have the site up again! Here's where I am; I bought a 50 Dodge for parts and had to make room 'cuz the wife says if it dont fit in the garage, it dont come home. So I set the 47 on the frame to give me space and the engine is sitting perfect with the original firewall. It really got me wanting to get moving on this again. On the rat truck side, the motor is together, the dash is together, just put front brakelines on, and I'm taking the rear springs from the 50 to get the rearend mounted. Also using the radiator from the 50, it looks pretty good. Spring fever is settin' in, hopefully this thing will be on the road in a couple of months.
