I got my new 1" MC yesterday and got it installed today. It's just what I was after - a little more pedal force and a little less pedal travel. Mine's coupled to Wilwood brakes - 6 piston front, 4 piston rear, with 8" dual diaphragm booster, 3.8/1 pedal ratio. No proportioning valve needed at the rear. I even moved mine to the front, to get a little more braking out of the rear and less likelihood of locking up the front. The valve can adjust from zero to 57% pressure reduction.

This deal was far cheaper than buying a new MC for $200.
