    looks like this is your solution: "Wilwood® may impose a refundable core charge for repaired/rebuilt Master Cylinder’s shipped at customer request before return of the recalled part."

    I had to read that several times to ensure that I was understanding, but it does sound like you can call them, request that they send you a replacement unit, and at their option they may collect a core charge from you, refundable when you send in your MC. Worth a try, I'd say.
