So if I understand your statement, they sold you a new 1" unit at a discount price of $150, and then after receiving your old 7/8" unit they will rebuild it, keep it for "rebuilt stock", and credit you $50 for the old one. You paid $100 for a new one that you wanted anyway, right?

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I got my new 1" MC yesterday and got it installed today. It's just what I was after - a little more pedal force and a little less pedal travel.

That's good news, glad it worked out for you.

Actually, the deal is better than that. Wilwood repairs your old MC and returns it to you, so you have the new MC and the old one for $100. Otherwise, the repair only is totally free.

"Wilwood will sell you a brand new master cylinder for $150. Once we have received your original recalled master cylinder for inspection and repair we will credit you $50 of this $150. Wilwood will still return your inspected and repaired master cylinder to you free of charge."
