My setup is all weird like, I think the 2 wires come out of the alternator, the join together, split back into two wires, and then screw into some stuff on my firewall. I'm not sure what's on the other side though. My original wire exploded, so I made a new one by copying the old one. Everything works great now. 3 wire alternators are better than one wires, so you're better off switching anyways.
