Ya got a chev fuse block in your T?
Your altenator got a internal regulator (after 1972)?
If so, the post is 12V battery sorce
The #1 stab goes to your alt excitor on your fuse block.
The #2 stab is a short jumper connected to the 12V post on your alt.
Thats what I remember bout Chevy 3 wire Alts, I also got a single wire Alt (Chromed) I hope mine don"t fail.
Any-one else agree with this wiring? It's been a while but I think thats it.
