GM One wire Alt. Conversion
Do you guys know which of the two wires on the side plug that has to be jumpered over to the 12 volt battery power to make a poor man's one wire conversion?
My custom chrome plated one wire unit on the T failed yesterday. I have another alt. that is good but it is a standard set up with the required plug on the side.
I heard you can jumper one of the two wires to make it go.
The T now only has the one main feed to the rear post, so I don't have the other standard wires needed to set up the stock style GM harness.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

run a 12 ga. wire from the big post on the back of the alt to the #2 wire in the top of the alt, these wires are hot all of the time i think some might have a "B" on it also. the third wire goes to the ign. switch but you dont need that.
