Agents are not equal, that's for sure. My AmFam agent went to bat for me when I wanted to go pick up my roller chassis & body, but found that my truck/trailer insurance only covered the load for liability, not for any damage to the load. They wrote an auto policy for comp & collission only, and maintained it through construction for me. The CHROME guy was amazed that AmFam had done that for me. My only headache is that if I should have a total loss their contract language includes an "...or market value..." clause which will likely get us into an argument. State Farm is the same way, as is Allstate and the other "traditional" carriers. That said, my '33 is "....just another car..." to them - no restrictions on mileage, trips to the store, using it to run errands, or anything else. It is a pleasure vehicle, and I can use it as it pleases meRoger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
