When's the next good swap meet out your way? Maybe I could make a "business" trip happen?!?!?
The next Longbeach swap meet is Aug. 8 and Pomona is Aug 15. I've never been to the one in Longbeach but one of the other guys posted some pics from it on here recently. I think a "business" trip to SoCal sounds like a great idea!!!

Thanks for the links! I don't think I could put a package together that fast to get there next month but, It would be fun to wander around checkin' out the parts and cars!

They have those 2 swap meet/shows quarterly. I'll check my schedule for October and see if that's feasible for either of us.....could be a blast! and I could call you MIKE_ in person and see what happens....

Dang, you just love to push that button! Yes, let's try to put something together! Not sure how fast we can make it happen but, I'd love to see your ride in person!

Ok, Mike, I'll leave the button alone..... I certainly mean no harm or offense, just being a little ornery, I guess. Perhaps I have MSS (multiple syllable syndrome)! I tend to add an appendage of some kind to most of my friends with one-syllable names. A huge, bi-racial buddy of mine at my gym (was a body guard for Koby Bryant and guys like that) whose name is Pete. He calls me RandY and I call him PeteY.....he hasn't squashed me yet. Adds an extra rhythm to the exchange of names....or whatever. Tom becomes Tommy, etc. etc. Silly perhaps. And, I can certainly understand how adding a "y" to your name can inadvertently compare you to some things you might not want to be compared to.....e.g. the Life cereal kid, etc.
So, from now on you will just be Mike to me.......unless, of course, I just can't help myself!

Have a great Saturday, my friend!!! Hope you can figure out a way to get out here sometime!

Rand (just showing solidarity by leaving off the "y")

    More rear disc stuff....

So, it won't look like I've done a whole heck of a lot today. I'm still waiting for parts to arrive so I can finish putting the brakes together. Apparently, on the SN95 Mustang Cobra rear discs they recommend an anti-moan bracket that bolts to the caliper bracket and clamps on the axle tube. Of course they are designed for a 2 3/4" axle and mine is 3" so some modification was required. I bought a 3" heavy duty muffler clamp, cut off the factory clamp and welded the rest of the bracket to the 3" one. Here are pics before I painted it. These brackets are no longer made by Ford. I found the RH one on ebay but I'm still looking for one for the LH side. A guy on a Mustang forum said he might have one.

I also painted my newish rear springs, clutch pedal mechanism and the anti-moan bracket today. Geez, my garage looks like a disaster area in these pics!!! I just assume that's a sign of progress....

Rand, no harm no foul and we're all good! Yes, the Life cereal commercial always comes to mind! "He HATES Everything" !

No worries on my end! Just pokin' the bear back from my end!
