ok ...i knew that idiot car show from Cuba would not last more than 2 or 3 episodes .. and it dint take long for me to realize that the fast and loud crowd dint know their butt from a hole in the ground .. they built a 67 fairlane GT with a " 289 " big block in it .. now i have watched this episode of misfit garage where they are doing a 64 red on red ford galixie and the engine has a miss .. they determine that one cylinder has low compression . something is not letting the valve close .. then they determine that a slightly bent push rod is the problem .. i say bull .. a slightly bent push rod on that engine ( non adjustable valve train ) might give you a ticking noise but not a loss of compression .. these stupid made for TV car shows are killing me ...iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

It's all relative, Hoss; compared to an average 4 cylinder rice burner, a Windsor is a big block. I agree about the inanity of most of these shows, though, but I gave them all up when we gave up our cable tv.

Cotterpin started all that BS and it's grown from there. I guess the corporate bean counters, maybe they know how to put gas in their car if that, think it makes good TV since they view the general public as more stupid than they are. IMHO, the only one that had any worth was Two Guys Garage and it's other names.Ken Thomas

That's really sad, and even sadder if he hadn't bought his "agreed value" insurance policy before taking it out. Having that happen when you've got insurance is bad, but having it happen before you buy insurance is tragic!Roger
