i have seen those write ups on here i think .. i will buy from summitt though ...
ok ...i knew that idiot car show from Cuba would not last more than 2 or 3 episodes .. and it dint take long for me to realize that the fast and loud crowd dint know their butt from a hole in the ground .. they built a 67 fairlane GT with a " 289 " big block in it .. now i have watched this episode of misfit garage where they are doing a 64 red on red ford galixie and the engine has a miss .. they determine that one cylinder has low compression . something is not letting the valve close .. then they determine that a slightly bent push rod is the problem .. i say bull .. a slightly bent push rod on that engine ( non adjustable valve train ) might give you a ticking noise but not a loss of compression .. these stupid made for TV car shows are killing me ...
It's all relative, Hoss; compared to an average 4 cylinder rice burner, a Windsor is a big block. I agree about the inanity of most of these shows, though, but I gave them all up when we gave up our cable tv.
.
Cotterpin started all that BS and it's grown from there. I guess the corporate bean counters, maybe they know how to put gas in their car if that, think it makes good TV since they view the general public as more stupid than they are. IMHO, the only one that had any worth was Two Guys Garage and it's other names.
i am bored out of my mind .. i have not worked since june .. my company closed .. i have not looked for a job yet .. i do not drive the stang very much anymore .. i`m kinda tired of the ground pounding thing .. this car is for sale in the area but i just cant see 3500 bucks for it .. and i dont know if i want to build something again .. i do have a 429 and C6 tranny sitting in the floor ..
3500 is the asking price... LOL..
it is kinda hard to build a ride when there's no paychecks coming in. Sorry to hear that too!
1973 i was still in school .. i know i worked now and then for a fellow laying carpet .. he must have deducted taxes on me .. 74 5 6 and 7 i worked at the junk yard .bought a 428 mustang .. bought a 69 440 six pac super bee .. built a ton of V8 pintos .. a whole lot of cash but not much in the way of a paycheck ( dont tell the IRS) .. 78 i dont know what i did .. how does one not earn a penny ? 79 is a blank as well ... 80 i got married and had to get a real job .. an R&R man at a transmission shop ..worked there till the late 80`s .. got divorced and have been poor every since ..
the first test drive .. a friend of mine just finished this car .. drove it to show to some people and when leaving they yelled " get on it ".. he did .. flipped it three times .. so sad ...
Man I hate when that happens
That just sucks! What a shame.
Muse have been pretty sweet before the accident
Man that is a really bad deal! Good thing no one was hurt!
That's really sad, and even sadder if he hadn't bought his "agreed value" insurance policy before taking it out. Having that happen when you've got insurance is bad, but having it happen before you buy insurance is tragic!
