What make of car is in that picture?
The caption below the picture said circa 1925 so it's probably a 1925 Ford T-touring - - - - but that's just a guess on my part.
i hope the link works .. i drove one of these to school in the early 70`s .. mine was a 406 six pac though :)http://jalopnik.com/#!5764393/some-o...-worth-keeping
That's really a nice car, I hope someday he decides to restore it.:D
Hello Hoss. Thought i'd check in after a long time. Whats been going on with you? I've been selling and buying/building guns :D
Lost alot of interest in modding my car, and now i'm more focused on firearms, as i just mentioned. Still love my stang, as slow as it is.
Hoss--the mention of 406 and moonshiner--reminds me of the days in the Army at Ft. Benning Ga and coming over into Alabama to Pheonix City drag strip--I had a 59 ford 2 door business coupe with a 4 speed
nascar/usac 406 with a set of 2x4s from H & M----traded it to a guy I worked for part time fot a 64 comet and tho I thought he was going to race it, he sold it to a moon shiner and it disappearred from the area---don't know where it went, but would like to have it back--was a 292 y block ex dept agriculture state Ill when I got it---plain jane as they could get--not even seat belts or padded dash, windshield visor only on one side----but it was 12 volt and had a 9 inch rear
Check it out, Gang, 8 coats for only $35.

Here's a pic from one of our Electrical Coop Mags.

in the interest of checking my body work i sprayed a bit of topcoat on most of my repaired spots .. that was tuesday nite .. today it is still as wet as when i shot it .. seems i used the wrong catalyst ..
as i am the resident " tube bending expert :HMMM: " here at work i recently got to fab up tubes for a milling fixture .. the fixture is 6 feet long and 3 feet wide .. it took 54 feet of tubing and over 100 nuts/sleeves and 40 something elbows to complete ..
nice work Hoss---are those AN flares or the MS stuff???
Looks good, that's a plumbing nightmare
Kudos - hoss
AN8 ..37 degree flares .. now they tell me i get to plum two more .. gantry machine runs in sets of three ..
oh well the tubing is cheaper when you get 200 feet
So for February/March, I built this.

One that got away!
Sold this back in the early 90's to the president of the Oldsmobile Club in Denver for $5900.00. It's a very low mile (32,000 if I remember right) 1970 Oldsmobile SX-455 with the turbo 400 and 3:73 pos-a-trac 12 bolt rear end. That car was a blast to drive but, didn't get very good gas mileage.

Reminds me of one of these. A friend had one that had swivel seat. Man what fun it was!

i know some of you have racoons you feed ... ferrel cats you feed .. and maybe even a poison snake or two you tend to but my favorite beast is this mockingbird .. i have fed it all winter long and now it expects to be fed .. it will wait at the tree by my front door till i give it something .. i can get within 3 feet of it .. practically has tamed me it has ..
Cool beans, Hoss, that also happens to be the Texas State Bird !
Never seen a Mockingbird, Hoss.
I get these guys in my backyard every fall. It's fun to watch them hunt the red squirrels.
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...-da/GL/Owl.jpg
google one up on some sound effects site .. mine mimics every kind of bird you can imagine .. even hits a whiporwill now and then :).. puts me to sleep every nite and wakes me every morn :p i dint know it was the texas state bird .. knew there was some reason i liked them ;)
my need for things old has struck again :).. seems i want to clutter my yard with old farm impliments .. got this one row horse drawn planter today .. needs a couple handles and a small horse and i`ll be ready for spring planting .. if anyone has any info on it it would save me some web hunting :p
you need to get you a small "gee haw" mule or hinny (preferably a molly) and you'll be all set - - - - handles should be easy to reproduce - - - - cool score, Hoss
Hoss, don't you have a couple of horses? A Mustang and a Pinto. :D
BTW, I like this random stuff.
being as today is " all fools day " everyone in my department is going to call in sick today .. as fridays are the end of the week shipping panic it should give the boss quite a rise ..i tried to think of something to fool you folks with but you`re too sharp for that :HMMM:
first cruise in of the year today .. very good affair in athens bama .. i will deft go to more ..:)
Nice pics Hoss.
Great pics, Hoss, those flamed roadsters always seem to stand the test of time, don't they? For some reason, I never get tired of seeing them.
Just finished this morning's breakfast.
I haven't seen a double yolked egg in years
and I luvz good runny yellers for sopping.
The main reason I eat breakfast is to take

http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h...s2008/Eggs.jpg
i have`nt even thought of a double yoke egg much less seen one in 40 years .. how bout that ..someone lone me 85 grand and i will have the same stang i had 35 years ago .. i sold mine for 800 bucks .. with a fresh new engine
We have a friend who just closed down his chicken farm..We used to get all our eggs very ''cheep''' and quite few were double yolkers..Unfortunately,we dont get our eggs there any more,,so we dont see those very often now,Mello..Yeah,eating greasy eggs with your cholestorol medicine sorta balances things out, doesnt it??:LOL:
