Cant see a problem with that,Hoss....We were at a good little show/charity display yesterday[Sunday],with about 750-800 cars..The Stragglers Charity Day,in Cambridge..Lynda[my wife]took a pileof pix,and I know Lifestylz took a few hundred as well,in fact he will probably have his loaded before I get a chance...I am snatching a quick bite to eat before I go back into the shop..Got another Freightliner front to fix,as well as a Mustang still parked here,,,and a T bucket or two to produce as well now...
lets try the video again .. a little 10.5 action from huntsville .. you could`nt hold a gun to me a make me drive these things .. i guess you open the link .. .. oh well still not working .. we need to be able to delete a post now and then

I am an old codger and I do suffer from dry sky in the winter time. I tried everything that people had recommended and finally ran into an old lady in Wallyworld that told me about their generic brand Equate called "Advanced Recovery skin care lotion". When the dry skin starts showing up I just put that lotion on my legs and ankles (my worst areas) after showering and it works great. It is not real greasy and after you use it several times you don't have to use it as often.
Here's a photograph from my home town Historical Society Website.

My wife and I were talking the other day about how neat it would be to have a nostalgic town. A place that would be like stepping back in time. All modern conveniences are hidden, yet still enjoyed. Can you just imagine all the neon, full service gas stations, small corner diners, and yes all the old cars filling driveways and streets.
Our town was very close to that! Come here in May during American Graffetti days and you might be surprised.
it would be great to go back to mayberry RFD .. i love seeing the old cars on that show ..
i love the new mustangs .. even more so one done up with a 69 body kit :D

several years ago a local fellow reintroduced wild turkeys to the area .. we thought him a quack :whacked:.. but to our supprise they thrived .. i`ve seen flocks of 5 or 6 here and there .. but this was a bunch of about 30 .. most scattered before i could get back and get a shot..

this is all that is left of the house i was born in .. i only have a few memories of it .. i do remember playing with a bunch of baby frogs i had captured when i was 4 years old and having an older brother coming and stepping on all of them .. and i still can see the scar from falling and hitting my head on these steps and having 4 stitches .. it`s true :( you cant go home again ..

Sure you can Hoss, Rebuild.
It would probably be a better home anyway.
Use the old steps for a new car shop.
I tried to look up that Nancy King and found all kinds of weird stuff.
The story that stood out the most there was some lady that killed off six husbands.
But it does not say what year that happened most of the stuff is right around the civil war time.
That was in Hazel Green, Al.

now that is spooky .. when i was about 9 years old an unkle and aunt of mine lived in that house you speak of .. there in fact was 6 nails hung on a wall where 6 hats was supposed to have been hung belonging to the husbands of a women who killed them .. and 6 unmarked graves in the back yard .. the only thing spooky that my unkle said ever happened was one day after he left for work .. my aunt was sick in bed .. at noon someone walked into her room and asked how she was feeling.. my aunt did not look up but said she was feeling a little better .. later that day my unkle came home from work and my aunt thanked him for checking on her .. he said he did not come home earlier and the door was still locked when he just came home .. the place burned down supiciously about 25 years ago
How've you been lately?
My Hometown's Historical Society has a Website and this was their latest entry.
As a teenager getting interested in Cars, I can remember seeing
Johnny Lands Caddy Wrecker many times!

Got this stuff from a friend of mine in Beaumont, Texas and I thought I'd share it. I love looking a good work, don't you??
Hey Pal, check out this 3 deuce set-up recently completed by a friend of mine here. He restored a 1968 Ford Torino GT two door hardtop,,,,,,, built the engine - a 428 Cobra Jet. It has a 4 speed Ford toploader tranny and a 9" Ford posi-trac 4.10 rear end. The engine has an Iskendarian roller cam and 12-1 compression - Hooker headers and makes LOTS of horsepower. It had a big Holly 4 barrel carb on it but he just changed it over to the three deuce set-up. The guy is a perfectionist - check the details on the installation - all the linkage, fuel lines, etc. are OE Ford stuff. This Ford really RUNS my friend.....I rode in it and it will scare you! that is a great looking motor.
thanks for filling in for me mellow .. there just has been nothing going on in my world of late .. but i will share some local hotrod history .. these fellows have been gathering here every sunday morning at the local grocery for nearly 40 years .. telling the same lies week after week .. once in a while they relive their late teen years .. they are a bit older than me but i remember them well as hot rod heros to me .. the fellow with the camo coat with his back to us had a pretty wicked 340 cuda and was constantly challenging the local sherriffs dept to catch him .. he like me loved to drive hard after too much beer .. the fellow to his left with the red & white cap looking at me had a stought 383 roadrunner .. he lived near the school and took me home from ball practice a lot .. i rode in that runner a bunch ..the next fellow i dont know well .. the next with the red hat had a 390 torino that he showed out a lot in .. he would burn out every morning leaving my school after droping off his little brother headed for high school in hazel green the fellow with the blue plaid shirt i dont remember .. the next fellow with the red plaid shirt is featrured way back in post # 541 .. he actually owned this store in the 60`s and early 70`... he`s our previous commissioner ..the next fellow holding the water bottle is our current commissioner and now owns the car in post # 71 .. he had a neat 55 crown vick back in the day .. he hired me numerous time to haul hay ..kept most of the neighborhood kids in spending bucks that way ..the fellow in the green coat had a loud demon .. he was best buds with the first guy i spoke about .. the law knew them both well ..and their third running buddy actually just retired from the sherriffs dept recently .i dont know the fellow in white hat and shoes .. the last fellow with blond hair and beard was the most notorious hotrodder of the day .he lives next to me .. had the fastest 69 chevelle around .. didn`t tell anyone at the time he was running a 427 .. claimed the original 396 ..would beat everything cept frankies mach one ..from post # 206 .. all these fellows still get a rush when i drive up in my stang .. takes them back to their glory days ..
Thanks for the Introductions, Hoss. The knowledge and experience that is gathered around that table is invaluable, as is that picture. You are a lucky man to be able to call them your friends but, heck, you already know all of that, don't you?
P.S. that's truly one of those "I'd love to be a fly on the wall pics"
meller
