    Thanks!

Sprayed the frame rails under the bed floor with some aerosol bed liner. Also drilled and tapped all the bed floor mounting points and bought some nylon washers to place between the bed floor and frame rails to allow air floor and prevent moisture accumulation.

    1/4" Aluminum Bed Floor

Started playing around with an idea for the headlights. I made up a reversible locking spring loaded headlight mount to secure some polished bullet headlights. When rotated back, they resemble the dagmar bumperettes.

And started making up the under the cab lower rails.

Got the truck together enough to take it to a car show today, but it rained all day. Maybe tomorrow!

I hope you are sticking with the wheel/tire combo on there now and not bowing to the 20" rim crowd.

It's easy to see why bullet-shaped stuff on a hot rod was called Dagmars....Here's Dagmar.....

Yep, it is tagged, registered and insured. 61 VW single cab. The insurance company is fully aware of the modifications and the dmv has it listed as an 8 cylinder!

Started on the cage for the cab today. Once done, it will have 3 sets of 3 points seat belts.

    Installed the Safari Windshields today.

Fabricated a couple of outboard mounts and welded to the roll cage. Much stronger than stock.
