yep dave that works but works better i feel is the E.D.M lifters or whats called a direct lube lifter. the groove tool works better for a hyd lifter were you can not burn a hole thru them or a soild roller if you want more oil and not have hippo lifters

Yuppers! At your suggestion we spent the extra $$$$$ and put them in the 501 in the Comet last winter. Tore the engine down for it's annual checkup couple weeks ago---not a mark on anything in the valve train... Thanks!

Got the pickup works good.

After thinking about it awhile I'm going to take your advice pat. I just ordered the EDM solid lifters. I should have plenty of oiling with the combination of these and the grooves.
